Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut and the State of New York. 


Clinically trained at New York University (NYU), Brian's training focused on working across the lifespan with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

 

Brian's approach developed during his academic and experiential work as well as many diverse post graduate trainings. This training includes a rich foundation in:

He regularly attends clinical trainings to keep current on knowledge and skills relating to specific treatment approaches as well as furthering his expertise in the science of behavior, human development across the lifespan, and emotional and psychological wellness.   

 

Since 2005, Brian has served in many roles in various settings providing clinical outpatient care, managing outpatient clinics and psychiatric emergency programs, working in IOP / PHP settings, providing supervision to Master level clinicians and clinical interns of various disciplines, and coordinating positive youth development programing in a community Youth Service Bureau.

 

He is highly experienced in working closely with other medical and mental health professionals, school professionals, and other community associations to help people gain relief from symptoms while developing greater insight and awareness, reducing problematic or disruptive behaviors, improving interpersonal, family, academic, career and community functioning, and overall well being.
